Bitters are what keep a cocktail from tasting like juice, and this one adds fruit without adding sweetness. A few dashes turn a standard manhattan into a spiced cherry manhattan; it's equally good in an old fashioned or anything built on dark rum.
Rested in barrels that held Woodford Reserve first.
