What's Inside
- Corn, rice, onion, carrot, bell pepper, celery, chive, bay leaf
How to Make It
- Peel and dice potatoes and place them in a 4-quart pot.
- Add chicken broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and stir in chowder mix. Return to a simmer, cover and cook for 45 minutes.
- Add heavy cream and heat uncovered on low for 30 minutes, until slightly thickened.
- Remove the bay leaf before serving. Add salt and pepper to taste if desired.
- Optional: add fresh corn kernels with the cream in the final step.
