How to Make It
- In a 4-quart pot, melt butter and sauté onion for 5 minutes.
- Add flour or cornstarch and stir continuously for 30 seconds to form a paste.
- Stir in broth, bring to a simmer, and stir until thickened.
- Add the stew mix and chicken.
- Bring to a boil, reduce heat, and simmer covered for 30 minutes.
