How to Make It
- Heat oil in a 4-quart pot, add the soup mix and stir 1–2 minutes.
- Add broth and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, add raw chicken and simmer 15 minutes; remove chicken to cool (add 5 minutes for extra-large breasts), then continue simmering 10 minutes.
- Shred or dice the chicken and cut cream cheese into 5–6 pieces.
- Add the chicken and cream cheese and simmer 10 minutes.
- Stir until the cream cheese melts, add hot sauce and remove from heat.
- Serve with tortilla chips or bread.
