How to Make It
- In a 3- to 4-quart pot, crumble and brown ground beef in 2 tablespoons of olive oil, if desired.
- Stir in the chili mix, tomato sauce, barbecue sauce, water, brown sugar, and red wine vinegar.
- Bring the chili to a boil, then reduce to a simmer.
- Add the contents of the chocolate packet and cook for 40 minutes.
- Remove the bay leaf and serve.
